History & Character
The Crown & Cushion Hotel is a former 15th-century coaching inn. It was once owned by Keith Moon, the drummer of The Who, who entertained celebrity friends such as Roger Daltrey. Comedy writer Ronnie Barker was a regular guest, and some of the hotel's furnishings came from his shop.

The hotel offers 40 en-suite bedrooms with a mix of antique pine, dark oak furnishings, and wallpaper. Some rooms have contemporary furnishings, and those at the top front offer views of the church and the Cotswolds. Ground-floor rooms are available upon request, as the hotel has no lift.
